Highlight:

I just can stop paying attention to the size of the person's arm.
(I don't even know if it is right or left!!)
It is way too huge!!

And the dog... The neck line looks too rough.

Wonder who created this illustration. Actually it is a very interesting piece of art.

MY FAVORITE BATHROOM

CHARLES STREET between 4th St & Bleecker St.

The Bathroom is the most precious bathroom you've ever visited.

This beauty store has the finest beauty products. Items this amazing store carries are not only work well, but also come with cute and stylish packaging, which make the store a great place to go to when you are looking for a present for your friends and family and, of course, yourself.

And, the store decor. OMG. I adore the interior decor of this store.
As you walk into the back of the store, you realize yourself in a cute, old-fashioned bathroom.
Products such as tooth brushes, soaps, and shampoo bottles are displayed in the bathroom, as if you are in one of your rich friends' bathroom. The concept of "bathroom" is fully leveraged in the store and you feel the owner's effort to orchastrate the concept using every element of the store.

Well done!

UNEXPECTEDLY CUTE

HOUSTON STREET and Lafyette.

I found this super cute stuffed animal on the street. so random. very unexpected.

Notice how effective the contrast is between this cute plush toy and provocative Calvin Klein billboard ads in the back.

New York, New York.

LIQUOR IN STYLE

WEST BROADWAY between N. Moore and White.

I must say.... I ADORE this Liquor Store, I mean this gentlemen's clothing store in TriBeCa.
It is J. Crew's Men's shop.
This store does have a great concept. It is all about gentlemen's club.
I LOVE the store display and decor. How the clothing are displayed along with items that signifies the "gentlemen" style; vintage collections of vinyl records and books, real liquor bottles, men's cosmetic products served onto silver plates etc...

As I've mentioned in this blog again and again, the type of stores that I adore, has a STRONG concept, which is carefully painted onto every element that constitutes the stores.

WEST 4TH STREET between Jane and West 12th.

Cafe del Mare

MACDOUGAL STREET and Bleeker.

A great restaurant not only serves great food but also offer a great dining experience.
With the being said, the interior and the decor plays an important role in defining the mood of the dining scene.

TRULY HIDDEN

THOMPSON STREET between Grand and Watts.

I was so fascinated when I first discovered this pleasantly cute and chic select shop at the hidden area at the edge of Soho.
I love to discover hidden gems such as this store in the midst of so over-commercialized Soho.

I was even happier once I walked into the store and found all the cute and cool taste of clothing at a ABSOLUTELY inexpensive price. I was so happy that I started to talk about the store and its business concept with the sales clerk for about a half an hour!!

She told me that most of the clothing is from Asia, such as Japan and China and she and her partner started the business etc...
She was very friendly, which was successfully reflected onto the welcoming atmsophere of the store, which I really appreciated. I felt VERY comfortable shopping there. I really enjoyed browsing fine pieces of clothing, chatting with the clerk, and just experiencing the luxury of shopping in a tranquil environment in the midst of Soho.

Well, this tiny yet pleasant store is the hidden gem, in its true meaning.

CREATIVE SIGN IN RED

I FORGOT which street I found this sign at...

I am always amuzed and mesmeraized by hand-written street signs, such as this one.
Hand-written signs always have a full of personality to it. They definitely mirror their owners' personality.
